Hydraulic floor tiles are an example of how much Bayferrox® pigments can give life to construction materials.
The pigments design expressive floral motives of the hydraulic floor tiles.
Hydraulic floor tiles are an old product, but now its use is fashionable again thanks to the sensitivity of architects and decorators.
Famous for its resistance to bad weather conditions and for its high durability, it can be applied on walls and floors, in internal or external areas, typically combined with other types of finishing such as such as burnt cement or polished concrete.
The colored versions are widely used in more rustic environments, in sidewalks that feature compositions of colors and shapes, as well as on decorative tables.
It is manufactured from a metal matrix that separates the colors that make up the design. Separately, a mass is prepared with cement, sand, water and Bayferrox®, which is then divided into different colors and poured into each of the matrix’s compartments over the base layer, creating beautiful floral patterns.
- Indication: Bayferrox® and Green chrome oxide.
- Recommended pigment dosage: 1% to 7% over the cement’s weight.
